"Over the years I have frequented many e-commerce discussion boards in part to get a feel for what would be the best way to go when I was ready to expand beyond my eBay store. There are an overwhelming number of choices.

I wanted to be up and running quickly and was not interested in learning to build my own cart or hiring a designer. A hosted shopping cart seemed like the way to go and Shoppal was recommended by several knowledgeable sellers.

The structure is in place for even the most novice user (my husband was able to set up his Shoppal store, www.califspeed.com, himself and he is not computer literate at all). On the other hand a Shoppal site can be customized for a more individual look if desired. It was quite similar to setting up an eBay store and I was able to use some of the custom templates I had developed for eBay.

The help and support offered by Shoppal and the Shoppal users on their discussion boards was wonderful. I was able to get my site set up properly for the search engines, and put in a merchant account quite easily. I am utilizing the coupon module which works very well. I feel the cost is fair and a good value.
