I don't ever remember paying this fee before, but as I was reviewing my Authorizenet bill for last month I noticed a Annual Compliance Fee (AC) for $120. Needless to say I was shocked. I don't ever remember paying this fee and can't recall them sending anything about it. But it is possible I overlooked it. I went to their Web site and the ShopPal Web site that talks about Authorizenet, but nowhere did I see this fee ... it listed all the others, but not a $120 fee. Has any other Authorizenet user seen the same fee?

There was a discussion of this fee back 1 page under the heading: Discussion Topic: For Any Authorize.Net / Applied Merchant Users
You need to do a PCI compliance checklist on their site somewhere- I got a link in an email in December to do so- this is the 2nd year I got the charge.

You should have received a letter from Pipeline Data about this back in December. I think you had until today to follow the instructions in the letter and if you didn't, you're now going to be charged an extra $19.95 per month for compliance and insurance.

Thank you so much for the answers ... I don't remember an email or letter about the compliance and insurance, but that was also about the time my mom fell and broke her foot.
So to clear up, aside from our $24.95 fee they are going to charge an additional $19.95 fee? Yikes!
I may start looking for another company.

Yes, that's what the letter said. If I remember right it said something about including insurance against credit card fraud problems. I carry similar coverage with our business provider already.
You may want to call Pipeline and get a copy of the letter.

Diana, I had posted about this awhile ago. I knew nothing about it until I saw the charge to my account. I check my mail carefully & never received a letter ahead of time. They did email me a copy after I called them. One more way to get money out of us

I have the PCI form with me but I don't know how to have it filled and what box to check.I will appreciate any help from those of you who have filled this PCI form from Security Metric.
I am again reviewing authorize.net and may go back to Propay because i find some of these policies ridiculous.
There are five boxes on the form and I don't know which one to check and which one is the one for me.

I also have to comply with security metrica, and have been in compliance for over 1 year now. We had to fill out about 3 pages of information, and our site gets scanned quarterly as well for any security loop holes. It is a good thing in some ways to try to stop as much fraud as possible.
